Origin

Incepted in 1989, this branded cuisine restaurant by ITC Hotels placed authentic South-Indian dining on the global map. Dakshin is a tribute to the celebrated tastes from Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Uniqueness of Dakshin lies in the way it brings together the various and not one, South Indian cuisine under one roof.

Ambience

Exemplifying the warmth of Southern India, the entrance is adorned with a traditional ‘Urli’ decked with fresh flowers in front of a single-wood carved sculpture. While more indigenous adaptation can be noticed with accentuated ‘Thinnai’ Tanjore-style courtyards, brass bells ornamentation, ample sunlight and Carnatic music in the background.
